Is it true about Godzilla not being a danger to Tokyo after all?

I saw on a news report last night that the government of Japan had spent $ 14,000,000 to determine if Godzilla would actually be a danger to Tokyo. They have come to the conclusion (after a lengthy study!) that he will not be a danger after all.

Surely they did not spent $ 14,000,000. Ten million I could understand, but not fourteen million!

What do you think?

Maybe it’s 14,000,000 Yen. That would be about $143,000. That hardly buys anything when it comes to government spending.
